India keen to open her heart to China

Embracing China: India's New ApproachPlans are afoot to revive Bihar’s economy with Chinese investments in industry, technology and tourism. Located in East India, Bihar is a state which has one of the highest populations and until recently has depended highly on agriculture. Bihar, is known as the original site of the first recorded activities of Siddhartha, or Buddha, that once made it the center of the Maurya Empire of India in the 3rd century BC and was visited by pilgrims from China and other countries some 1,500 years ago. Similar to Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, one of India’s largest states in Central India is also following suit.
