Todays a rare day – its a holiday in both China and India, both venerating the full moon that blooms tonight, its a joyous occasion on both sides of the border. While China celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival,  on the other side of the Himalayas Indians will celebrate Ganesh Visarjan.

A common day of holiday between India and China calls for an off-beat post, one of cross border adventure, intermingling interests and improved inter-cultural relations. Best celebrated in a four nation car rally that will begin from Kunming in China and end at Kolkata in India. The car rally will start from Kunming in China and run via Dhaka and Sylhet in Bangladesh and end in Kolkata, India. The rally is being organized to promote connectivity and communication in the region and will be flagged off next winter.
